Te Mārua Dissolved Air Flotation Plant

As part of the Te Mārua Water Treatment Plant upgrade, Stewart Electrical delivered the electrical installation for the new Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) plant.

The project involved installing process instrumentation, motor control equipment, pumps, PLC control systems and a new MCC switchboard, along with all electrical services for the new DAF building. The DAF process plays a vital role in improving water quality by using air bubble floatation to remove suspended solids before treatment.
